Each year, colleagues from the Ausnutria Nutrition Institute attend the ESPGHAN (European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition). In June 2024, our colleagues presented two abstracts (scientific articles) regarding gastrointestinal complaints in babies and the role of goat milk bottle feeding.
By implementing advanced UVC disinfection technology, all incoming goods are now treated with ultraviolet light, ensuring the highest hygiene standards. The result is a production process that not only meets strict regulations for baby and infant food, but also exceeds international standards.
Ausnutria has opened its own branch on the Wageningen Campus: the hotspot for innovation and knowledge sharing in the field of nutrition and health. Opening this Hub in Wageningen offers opportunities in the field of research and more frequent close collaboration with existing and new partners in nutrition research.
A major project started in 2021, which has now been completed. The investment in a new centralized CIP set. CIP, or Cleaning in Place, is a technique in which a production installation is automatically cleaned, without the installation being moved or taken apart.
Ausnutria has grown rapidly in recent years and this has had a significant impact on the consumption of packaging materials, especially with multiple locations. To optimize this and reduce material consumption, we have started adapting the pallet packaging.
This new factory will soon guarantee a completely gas-fee production process for the production of baby and infant food formula and will run completely CO2 and nitrogen emission free.
During the home match of SC Heerenveen against FC Emmen on April 22, Ausnutria lovingly gave up its place on the shirt to the Children’s Cancer Free Foundation (KiKa) to draw attention and raise money for the fight against childhood cancer.
On May 19, 2022, the kitchen of Fikks Children’s Cooking School festively opened its doors! Under the watchful eye of Mama Mascha’s supervisors, the first children showed off their learned cooking skills in the brand new kitchen in the Abe Lenstra stadium.
