Our responsibility
Ausnutria pursues its mission with due consideration to the society in which it operates. In this respect Ausnutria not only focuses on opportunities, but also on its responsibilities. Growing children are vulnerable. Access to the right nutrition is essential for their development. Producing and providing access to healthy and nutritional infant formula is the core activity of our organisation.
The healthiest and most nutritious baby food is, in the first place, breastmilk. We therefore endorse the principle that babies should be breast-fed for the first six months of their lives, in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO). We also promote breast-feeding babies for as long as possible after the first six months. For babies that are not breast-fed, we offer high-quality infant formula.
Quality & food safety
We produce products for an exceptionally vulnerable target group. That is why quality and food safety are our number one priority. On the basis of the Ausnutria quality system, we safeguard the processes required to guarantee an excellent and safe product.
Way of working
Our Quality Assurance department establishes standard practices based on HACCP (risk assessment), legislation and certification requirements. In order to strengthen our processes and ensure that we continuously meet the highest possible standards, we are constantly evaluating and optimizing our working methods. In addition, Ausnutria has the knowledge to develop recipes that are specifically tailored to local laws and regulations in countries worldwide.
Certification
All Ausnutria locations are audited on a regular basis by the Dutch Central Authority for Quality Matters (COKZ) and by the various certifying authorities. Our quality systems are certified* according to the following (international) standards:
- FSSC22000 Food Manufacturing
- BRC Food
In addition, we are certified for the production of:
- Organic products
- Halal products
- Kosher products

The quality principles of Ausnutria respond to society’s demand for sustainability. At our production sites, we strive to implement the most environmental friendly ways of production and thereby aim to reduce our ecological footprint. Furthermore, we commit ourselves to a society in which everyone can flourish and make optimal use of their talents. We value our employees and push ourselves to provide them with a safe and positive workplace.
