Ausnutria, in collaboration with sc Heerenveen, raises money for KiKa

During the home match of SC Heerenveen against FC Emmen on April 22, Ausnutria lovingly gave up its place on the shirt to the Children’s Cancer Free Foundation (KiKa) to draw attention and raise money for the fight against childhood cancer. This with a beautiful result. Wearing a special orange outfit, we all managed to raise no less than €22,500 for charity. Ausnutria and sc Heerenveen presented the check to KiKa prior to the home match against Excelsior.

Every year, almost 600 children in the Netherlands develop cancer and every three days one child dies from this terrible disease. Ausnutria wants all children to grow up healthy and therefore supports KiKa in that ultimate goal: 100% cure for childhood cancer.

To raise money, a collection was held and the shirts worn were auctioned after the match. The special limited edition shirts were also for sale in the Feanstore. Ausnutria increased the amount raised by €2,000, bringing the total proceeds to €22,500. This amount will entirely benefit KiKa, with which the foundation can finance new scientific research into childhood cancer. Aimed at less pain during treatments, more healing and a higher quality of life later in life. We will only win the fight against childhood cancer if we do it together!
