Laura about her job at Ausnutria
“At Ausnutria, I focus on growth by participating in improvement projects and looking at work processes and actions every day through a QA-quality lens. In everything you assess, you consider the potential risk of a food safety hazard in your decisions. And if something goes wrong in the factory, you ask: how can we make sure this doesn’t happen again in the future? In this way, I contribute to healthy growth in our processes, products, and the organization.
I enjoy collaborating with different departments to solve problems together and achieve a good end result. The quality I’ve had since childhood is my hands-on mentality: rolling up your sleeves to tackle something and making sure you get the answers to the questions you ask. And also daring to ask the who, what, where, why, and how questions to find out how things really work. I believe this is a quality you need in this field to ensure you can make a proper risk assessment for a problem and deliver a safe product for our target group—the babies who ultimately consume it.
Ausnutria has contributed to my growth by giving me the space to take initiative and learn from colleagues. The door is always open if you have a question, and there is a lot of freedom to take action. You can come up with your own ideas for a solution and then put them into practice. However, it is expected that you are proactive and sometimes flexible enough to adapt when needed.”
