Since last summer, Ausnutria has been a founding partner of the Samen Circulair Foundation, roughly translated as ‘Circular Together’. This foundation was founded on the initiative of waste processor Omrin and football club sc Heerenveen, together with twelve enthusiastic companies from the northern part of the Netherlands. The initiative was officially launched during the Week for the Circular Economy from 6th to 11th February.
Samen Circulair is a network organization and collaborates with various other initiatives in the field of circularity and sustainability. In addition, Samen Circulair collaborates internationally with the We Play Green Foundation of Norwegian international football player Morten Thorsby (former player of sc Heerenveen).
Ausnutria is involved in this initiative because it fits our mission to strive for a better environment perfectly: “we commit to sustainable production and consumption and act on climate change for our future generations.” The choices we make today determine the world in which young children grow up. This is why we realize our growth in a responsible and sustainable manner and we continuously work on improving our processes and products. We can learn from other organizations, but we can also share our in-house knowledge and innovation with others.
As partners, we want to strengthen each other ánd other companies in the northern part of the Netherlands. The foundation therefore organizes inspiration and activation meeting around the home matches of sc Heerenveen. Samen Circulair also organizes excursions and company visits to appealing examples of the circular economy. We point out the possibilities to each other, learn from each other’s experiences and invest smartly in circular initiatives. Moving forward together!
