Announced strikes at Ausnutria locations

Ausnutria has taken note of the strikes at our production sites, as announced by the unions. We deeply regret this decision and we focus on minimal waste.

Although we of course respect the right to strike, we call on the unions to conduct the strikes in a responsible manner. This means that wastage of ingredients should be prevented as much as possible. Discontinuing production at multiple production locations at the same time entails the risk that we will have to have large quantities of milk and/or whey destroyed. In a world where food waste is a central issue, this is ethically unacceptable. We trust that the unions will see this no differently.
