As a manufacturer of infant nutrition, ensuring food safety and quality is our highest priority. Through the Ausnutria quality system we secure the processes that are necessary for a guaranteed good and safe product.
The Ausnutria quality system is based on the HACCP principles (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points).
Legislation and regulations
Our processes and products are based on legislation in accordance with Codex Alimentarius, EU and Dutch legislation on food products. In addition, Ausnutria has the knowledge to develop recipes that are specifically tailored to local legislation and regulations in countries outside the EU.
Our quality systems are certified based on the following (international) standards:
- FSSC22000 Food Manufacturing
- IFS Food
- BRC Food
- GMP + animal feed
In addition, we are certified for the production of:
- Organic products
- Halal products
- Kosher products
(Certifications vary by production location.)
All raw materials and end products are extensively tested for food safety and quality aspects, both by our own lab in Lelystad and by external renowned laboratories. All Ausnutria locations are regularly checked by the Central Agency for Quality Matters in Dairy (COKZ) and by the various certification bodies.
A good and safe end product starts with good ingredients. Ausnutria only uses ingredients and materials from selected suppliers.
Ausnutria aims to continually improve in the area of quality and food safety. The organization does this both by investing in production locations and by developing employees, knowledge and processes.
