Hyproca Lypack at Gulfood 2017


Tailor made infant & toddler nutrition

The team of Hyproca Lypack is looking forward to the 22nd edition of the world’s largest food and hospitality show: Gulfood,  which runs at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 26 February to 2 March. Hyproca Lypack is present as an exhibitor for the fourth time, informing visitors about its expertise and services as a private label infant & toddler formula manufacturer.

Boudewijn van Rijn, Commercial Manager at Hyproca Lypack, is excited about the participation: “The type of audience visiting this exhibition is very much in line with the type of customers we are looking for. The exhibition attracts a wide range of people in retail, but also brand owners looking to expand their product range. Also the geographic spread is interesting; the Gulfood is visited by people from all over the world, which include many markets of specific interest for our business.”

In addition to meeting these potential customers, the exhibition also provides a good opportunity to get an impression of their business and their drive and commitment towards infant and toddler formula products. Boudewijn: “The baby food industry is characterized by strict laws and regulations for production, labelling and marketing activities. If companies are convinced to move into this market, then we are ready to support them and when needed we give advice based on our own experience in the industry.” The right customers are not always the big food companies. “The most important thing is to have a certain connection and to know that the customer can manage the business.”

Managing relations is important for Hyproca Lypack. Companies appreciate support and guidance when needed. Boudewijn: “We have a qualified R&D team that can help develop a product on the basis of ready-made recipes. Our R&D team can also offer advice with regard to product characteristics. However, being successful means more than offering a good quality product. For the businesses who take their first steps into this market, we are happy to provide advice on more levels. Helping their business grow in a sustainable way, is also good for our business.”

Hyproca Lypack offers products from Dutch origin. “We have two infant formula factories in the Netherlands and one under construction. Our Dutch origin is important.” To emphasize this, the company is part of the Holland Pavilion, at the Gulfood. “The Gulfood has over 5000 exhibitors. Being part of the Holland Pavilion, with a big dairy sector, helps is to be found easier.”

Hyproca Lypack is present with two representatives, Boudewijn and Simon Grolleman, International Account Manager. Boudewijn: “We have been looking forward to this. Although an exhibition like this can be intensive, you also meet a lot of interesting people, it is important to keep in contact with the market this way.” Hyproca Lypack can be found at stand 251.
